NCSOFT Store Items?
I have a couple questions on some of the items offered thru the Store - I have looked at the descriptions and they seem a little 'gray':
1) Skill Pack = does that mean that I have ALL of the skills available for ALL the different Professions OR just the professsion of that character? IF it is ALL of the skills available In The Game - does that mean that my Monk can charm a pet? (example as Ranger is only Pet Charmer). I know you can't put 'points' into pets But it would allow you to have a companion. 2) Are the Mission Packs for ANY level or only higher level characters? 3) Do the store "item packs" (vs Game packs) fall under the same 30 DAY RESTRICTION on the account? I bought Nightfall 2 days ago as a direct download and now couldn't buy Eye of the North as the Account is on hold for 30 days.....BUT I really want to buy some costumes and other items. Thanks in advance for any info for this lil old returning player...... |

While Rangers are the only profession to get the Charm Animal skill, all professions can have pets so long as their secondary profession is Ranger. You do not need to use the Skill Unlock Pack in order for a monk to use a pet, simply change your secondary to Ranger and equip Charm Animal. Quote:

Note, the item pack only unlocks items for PvP use, so your PvE characters will not get the items. |

Just wanted to add that to use a tome to get a skill, it has to be unlocked which the skill packs do.
Also, the skill packs allow you to buy any skill from the campaign you're currently in from any skill trainer rather than to reach certain outposts for specific skills. |

Ahhh I see - thanks!
I am Really Bummed about the $30/30 rule! This makes getting back into the game VERY difficult. Is there a way around this - like calling support or something? |

you can go to a real store and buy the games (and many other stores have these for much cheaper than the official store)....as for the rest the ingame store or the online are the only ways to get those items.
(though for skill unlock packs, if you play the game you will be able to unlock the skills while you pve...or with balthazar points from pvp).

Thanks - I have all of the "packs" - what I want is the accessories - pets, costumes, extra storage etc that you can't get anywhere else but the Store.
